Outcome
Breathwork is a meditation and breathing guidance app designed to help people reduce stress, improve mindfulness and build emotional resilience. The platform combines calming visuals, intentional breathing exercises and a supportive content structure to guide users through daily mindfulness routines.
Through research, structured app mapping and multiple design iterations, the project delivered:

Overview
Modern life creates constant pressure, leading to anxiety, burnout and emotional exhaustion. People looking for relief often struggle with scattered meditation tools, inconsistent quality of guidance and lack of a personalised flow.
Breathwork was created to simplify mindfulness and make breathing based meditation accessible. The goal was to build an experience that feels grounding, soothing and easy to follow, while offering depth for users who want multi day challenges or longer practices.
The project scope included branding, user flows, wireframes, design system and full UI exploration.
Challenge
During research, several core problems became clear:
Users struggle with stress and need simple, guided relief
Many meditation apps feel generic, making it hard to connect emotionally Overly complex navigation disrupts the calming experience
Mood based content is often hidden or not personalised
Lack of clear structure causes users to drop off mid journey
Visual identity does not always match the emotional purpose of the app
These challenges shaped every design decision, from the brand visuals to the clarity of the navigation.
Users struggled to navigate complex product catalogs and complete purchases efficiently. The goal was to streamline usability without sacrificing functionality or product discovery.
Solution

Indicate the material and view preparation instructions
Use the quantity calculator to estimate paint needed
Add recommended accessories
Receive a digital summary and continue in store with mobile or app
QR Code to Mobile Continuation
The kiosk prompts users to scan a QR code to continue the journey on their phone.
This avoids long interactions at the kiosk and supports customers who prefer using their own device.
Once on mobile, the interface adapts to smaller screens while keeping all progress intact.
In Store Navigation
The digital summary helps users:
Locate products in the aisle
Verify product labels
Take the chosen paint to the mixing machine
Prepare all needed items before checkout
App Download Nudge
At the end of the mobile journey, users receive a subtle prompt to download the MissPompadour app.
This encourages long term engagement and supports features like saved projects, inspiration feeds, and colour bookmarking.
Process
We followed a user-centered design approach with multiple iterations and testing phases to ensure the final solution met both business goals and user needs.
We designed a clean interface with modular components, reducing cognitive load and increasing completion rates.
The new design system established consistency across all pages while maintaining flexibility for future growth and feature additions.
